The Connecticut House of Representatives on Wednesday approved legislation that dramatically reduces the number of probate courts in the state by more than half and draws new probate districts in what will be the biggest overhaul of the probate system since it was formed over 300 years ago.

Hartford, CT – State Reps. Livvy Floren, Fred Camillo, Lile Gibbons and State Senator L. Scott Frantz applauded Governor Rell’s announcement that the state Bond Commission is expected to release $5.3 million to upgrade the power system for commuter trains from New Haven to New York when they meet on October 30th.
