Labor costs are the major factor in higher taxes.
In dire times wages should be reduced. Continual
sweetheart contracts for Unions 3-4% increases and no provision for government deficit consideration has resulted in wages to be 27%
higher than the private sector. Gov't workers also have much better job security. This should
be reversed. If not, go to outsourcing. Instead of firing 10%, reduce wages 10% and stop the greed in refusing to consider fellow workers.
No more GREED !!!

Please stop the destructive tax plan proposal! The legislators that proposed this new state property tax apparently will not be happy until they have driven more residents and businesses out of the State of Connecticut. Taxes have not proven to be the answer to any of our state problems, for example, the state income tax. Please do all you can to defeat this proposed legislation.

Thank you,
Rocco V. Natale

Why can we not have something like the Fair Tax and that is all the government gets. No overspending by the government - they live within their means like everyone else has to do. And with the health care debate - what is the exit strategy if the proposed health care plan turns out to cost more than proposed. So far this year they have taken $3,300 from my paycheck for social security and I will probably never see a dime of that money come back to me whereas if I had the option to put that money in a mutual fund I could at least have some hope fo seeing some it. Giving tax breaks to specific companies is really not the answer...........give tax breaks to everyone across the board and watch the economy take-off including companies hiring more people.
